Your kids are more than welcome at our wedding. However, you should be aware that Anafi is probably not a very children-friendly island. Access for pushchairs is extremely difficult as there are endless steps and steep hills to walk around in the village. Additionally, all the beaches - except Roukounas - have no access with car or motorbike but you need to walk or hike for about 5-30 minutes on a challenging terrain. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas to rent at any beach on the island and not many venues with a shade in Hora either. So, please think twice before you promise the trip to the kids to avoid disappointment.

Anafi has a couple of greek taverns which have delicous food. 

 

• Alexandras Place - located close to the main square, this tavern has nice sea views and serves delicous fish. It serves breakfast as well.

 

• Margaritas Restaurant- located in Klisidi beach, with greek homemade food and homemade bread. The view from the balcony is something unique.

 

• In Klisidi Beach is located a rock bar, Madres Bar Mantres Bar, which stays open until dawn.

 

• If you want your soul to drift up to the stars and conjoin your soul with the sound of peace, head for 'Glaros Bar' (which means seagull) located in Hora which is the oldest bar in Anafi spanning almost 20 years in operation.
